One visit, several Jobs

A Service Request is one visit to a customer. That visit can include an oil change on two compressors, a dryer inspection, and piping work.

Add a Job for each piece of work.

Three Jobs on a Service Request: one on an asset, one on an asset group, and one with no equipment
Each Job shows its number, its equipment, and the instructions.

Put a Job on an asset, a group, or nothing

  • An asset, such as one compressor.
  • An asset group, such as a compressor room. The Job covers the equipment in the group and in the groups inside it.
  • No equipment, for piping, plumbing, or install prep for a machine that is not in NORDVEST yet.

Some customers want each asset or group tracked on its own. Jobs do this without separate Service Requests.
